The meeting was held at 7:30 PM with about 60 Alumni members present under the stewardship of

Shri S. N. Sharma (President)

Shri S. K. Jha (Vice President

Shri V. K. Setia (Secretary General) 

1)   The President welcomed the members on the occasion of Eleventh Annual Meeting. He briefly enumerated the achievements of the association and extorted younger alumni to actively involve in the functioning of the association and keep the legacy of ISM Culture active.

2)   The members were requested to introduce themselves and about 60 present in the meeting were introduced. 

3)   The Secretary General presented the annual report and financial statement. A copy of this report is enclosed herewith. He emphasized to the members to increase their communication level with the association and involve themselves in the activities to foster interpersonal relationship amongst the members of the alumni. The statement of account was presented and it was passed by voice vote. He also requested members to take life membership to help build financial base of the association. 

4)   Five undergraduates from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad gave a presentation on the event Srijan held last year at the campus, wherein they showcased their technical achievement and capabilities, which was highly acclaimed by the industry & academics. This year also they are organizing ?rijan 2005: and for which they have appealed to members, ISMAA for generous contribution. 

5)  Some suggestions were made by the members which are as follows

a) A Get-Together to be held in Mumbai either mid stream or at annual function.

b) Periodical technical seminar be organized where alumni can present their work. The association will take necessary steps for ? and ? above.

6)      Election of Office Bearers

Nominations were invited from the open house for the formation of the Managing Committee. Members expressed that since the existing committee was doing an excellent work, there was no need to change it.

Shri V. K. Setia expressed his desire to relinquish the post due to his health problems. His name has been nominated by the Management for member advisory council with his consent.

Three names were proposed for inclusion in the committee and the incumbents consented for it and names were elected unanimously.
